Terms of Use

Effective September 1, 2026

What this is

This service, operated at opgen.ai, is a membership product for reviewing and coaching your own Hearthstone games: a desktop app that reads your own local game logs and reconstructs your games, this web companion for talking about them, and coaching on a game while you are still playing it. Using any of it means you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

Early access

This service is in early access: it is new and still being built, and what you see today is not a promise about tomorrow. Features, limits, prices, models, and the shape of the app and this site can be added, changed, paused, or removed without notice, and nothing you have seen or used obliges us to keep it as it was. If a change isn't for you, you can cancel — see Membership and billing, below.

Your account and connected PC

Website access is through your account. Connecting the desktop app mints a separate setup token for that PC; keep it secret and don't share or resell it. We can rotate a device token if it leaks and suspend credentials that are abused.

Membership and billing

A membership is sold by the month or by the year, and it renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the period you have already paid for runs to its end, and it is not automatically refunded. You can cancel at any time from your account.

A membership may be offered with a free trial. A trial takes a card up front and charges nothing while it runs, and it becomes a paid membership when it ends unless you cancel first. How long a trial runs is stated on the offer itself.

Prices and tiers can change, as early access says above. A change to what you pay takes effect at your next renewal, never retroactively.

Budgets and cost

AI coaching costs real money to produce, so every membership carries a coaching budget that resets each calendar month — on a yearly membership too, which pays for a year of the same monthly budget rather than a year's worth at once. When the budget runs out the coach stops until the month turns. The higher tier can instead buy prepaid credit and keep going: that is always a purchase you make deliberately, never an automatic charge, and the credit does not expire — though it can only be spent while the membership is active, so cancelling freezes an unspent balance rather than taking it.

Everything that never calls the AI is free and stays free — watching your own replays, filtering cards, reading reviews you already have.

What does spend the budget: reviews, which run only when you ask for one; live coaching while you have it on, meaning both your mid-game questions and, if you say yes for that game, the lines the coach offers on its own turn; searches you type in your own words; and, when sync and AI coaching are both on, the background pass that keeps your coaching profile up to date. That last one is the only thing that spends without you asking each time. The Privacy Policy describes what it does, and turning off AI coaching or sync stops it.

AI advice is advice

The coach grounds its answers in your game's own log and labels what is fact and what is inference. But it is AI output and can be wrong. It is offered as analysis to consider, not a guarantee. No promise of rank, win rate, or results is made or implied.

Fair use

Don't attempt to break, probe, or overload the service, extract other people's data, automate bulk requests against it, or use it for anything unlawful. The product is for reviewing games you played yourself.

Your content stays yours

Your games, decks, rules, and chats are yours. You give us only the permission needed to operate the product, which is storing what you chose to sync and processing what you send for coaching — reviews, live-game asks, searches you type, and the profile pass — as described in the Privacy Policy; and, only if you turn on Share chats with Nico in Settings, letting Nico read the chats you chose to share to improve the coach, on the terms the Privacy Policy states for that switch.

Not affiliated with Blizzard

This service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Blizzard Entertainment. Hearthstone is a trademark of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. The desktop app reads the log files Hearthstone itself writes on your machine. It does not modify the game, overlay it, or play it for you.

Card and game imagery

Card images shown in this service are requested by your browser directly from HearthstoneJSON, a community project that is not affiliated with this service or with Blizzard Entertainment. A small number of board and interface images are served by us. All Hearthstone imagery remains the property of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc.

Ending things

You can stop using the service anytime; your local files remain yours, and you can ask us in Report to delete your synced data and your account. Cancelling a membership and deleting your data are separate requests: cancelling stops the billing, deleting removes what is stored. We may suspend or end access for abuse of these terms.

No warranty

The service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the month the claim arose — and on a yearly membership, to one month's share of what you paid for that year.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version is posted here with a new effective date.

September 1, 2026: these terms said memberships were month to month; yearly memberships now exist, so billing, renewal, trials, and prepaid credit are set out in Membership and billing above, and the liability cap says what it means for a yearly payer. "Nothing bills in the background" was not true of the background pass that maintains your coaching profile, so that section now names everything that spends the budget instead.
